V458 Vul - Nova Vul 2007

 

V458 Vul was discovered by Hiroshi Abe on August 8th 2007 at V=9.4.  CBET 1027 reports a possible progenitor is visible on POSS at about V=18.  The Nova lies just 7 arc minutes North of the Mira star SS Vul.
