V1452 Tau (Nova Tau, 2026) was discovered on 2026, Aug 06.410 UT at unfiltered magnitude of 11.2 by the NMW (New Milky Way)-TexasTech survey and announced on Atel 17947.  This is the first nova in Taurus since Nova Tau 1927 (XX Tau)
