Discovered by Yuji Nakamura (Kameyama, Mie, Japan) on March 18.4236 at magnitude 9.6 unfiltered CCD, using a 135mm F4.0 lens + CCD
This image was obtained with the 85mm refractor Canary 2 ultra wide field telescope at SLOOH on March 20.256UT, with the Nova measured at magnitude 7.986CV. South is to the bottom with East to the left.

The Nova is highlighted. The open cluster is M52, and the nebulosity to the right of the Nova is the Bubble Nebula (NGC 7635)
