V1363 Cyg is a suspected VY star which spends prolonged periods in low state. VSX has type UG, which looks to be in error. The observations shown on this plot are the only positive visual observations made since 1989. August and September 2005 were particularly active, and the outburst in May 2011 was the brightest since discovery in 1949. The CCD observations commencing in 2006 have been made with the Bradford Robotic Telescope.
