RZ Vul is catalogued as type RVB with a range of 11.7-15.0V, however it's identity has been somewhat confused over the years.  It was first noted by Wolf & Von in 1906 after which it was ignored for 60 years.  In 1966 it was classified as type UG/NL, 1977 RVB and in 1986 RCB

 

It's clear from the above light curve that the minimum has been deepening since 2000, with the minimum of 2022 being historically the faintest yet recorded in this star.
