Nova Cas 2020 was discovered by S. Korotkiy on July 27.93 at magnitude 12.9CV.  It's a Fe II type nova highly redenned by interstellar extinction.

After peaking at magnitude 10.7CV on Aug 10, the nova faded by two magnitudes in five days before brightening again at magnitude 11.38CV on August 20, before fading once again.
