Probably better known by it's HS (Hamburg Survey) designation as HS1340+1524, HW Boo is catalogued in the GCVS and VSX as type UG. However from a visual inspection of the light curve, the outbursts are very short in duration (~2 days), with the large variation of the quiescent level (16.5C-18.5C) suggesting behaviour more suited to an Intermediate Polar, with light curve profiles similar to DO Dra and HT Cam.
CCD observations obtained with the Bradford Robotic Telescope, and V-band data obtained with AAVSO-NET SRO-50 telescope.
